We began as a vacation bible school in a house on Mangold Avenue in 1933 with 24 charter members. In 1960, land was purchased at the current site of 3800 West Rawson Avenue. The cornerstone was laid on Oct. 21, 1962 and the first service was held in May of the following year.
Faith Presbyterian Church has always been known as the little church with a big heart.
Since the turn of the century, Faith has been active in mission beyond its doors. As a part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), Faith is known for supporting mission projects. Each year, our members raise or collect thousands of dollars for national and international appeals. We also support a local Franklin school, host a food cupboard in the church for those in need, collect over-the counter medications for a free clinic, and try to answer the call for help when needed.
We offer inspiring and uplifting worship services with music that enables us all to worship God more fully.

We are also a member of the Covenant Network.
Cathy serves on the Commission on Transitional Ministry and the Committee on Local Arrangements for the General Assembly with our Presbytery and is a commissioner to the Synod of Lakes and Prairies. She also serves her community as an advocate for people who are experiencing homelessness and serves as a board member of the West Allis Library. Cathy and her husband, Mark, live in West Allis and she has three grown children.
Joan is a graduate of Alverno College with a degree in piano performance/pedagogy. She accompanies groups from various high schools in the area, “Women of Note”, and the Milwaukee Choristers. She also has played for the Milwaukee Opera Company and the Florentine Opera Company, and teaches piano lessons. Joan is a wife, mom to 3 terrific kids, grandma to 6 wonderful grandchildren, and a huge Green Bay Packer fan!
Marcene comes to Faith Presbyterian Church with a diverse administrative assistant background. She started her career at Miller Brewing Company where she met her husband, Mike. After her fourth child went off to school, Marcene worked for the Elmbrook School District in several roles but most notably Administrative Assistant to the Principal of Swanson Elementary School. It was in this role that she received the Outstanding Employee Award for the district. Marcene has four grown children with her husband of 43 years. She and her husband enjoy traveling, biking, camping, kayaking and being outdoors in nature.
